Northacre PLC are responsible for the design, development and marketing of over £1.5bn+ of prime residential property in central London, including major landmark developments such as the Lancasters, The Bromptons, Kings Chelsea, 1 Palace Street and Ten Broadway. CiD began working for Northacre in the late 1990s, creating the large book hoarding for the Kings College that won us a D&AD pencil, since then we have been responsible for the marketing collateral of a number of high-profile residential developments, Northacre pitch documents (including 1Palace Street), corporate communications, advertising campaigns and a raft of corporate and development websites.

Reporting change

Our work with Northacre included their Annual Reports (four years consecutively); brand realignment, internal signage and display systems, marketing proposals, pitch documents, presentations and sub-branding of their interior and architectural offer, as well as websites, digital campaigns, invites and livery.

Casting the net

CiD create exceptional and successful bid documents and we produced, in a very short timeframe, the winning bid presentation brochure for the development of the old headquarters for the Metropolitan Police, New Scotland Yard – now Ten Broadway. We went on to create and build the public consultation website as the development started construction and we continue to host and assist with site updates whenever necessary.

Northacre Developments

Award-winning hoardings

We won a D&AD pencil for our work on the highly creative and unique book hoarding we created for the Kings Chelsea development, that established ‘distinctive hoardings’ as a key Northacre brand signature characteristic – the Lancasters hoarding on the Bayswater road was designed in a similar vein (again for Northacre) and was highly successful in raising awareness of the development and contributing overwhelmingly to the sales process.

King of hoardings

Built in glass-reinforced plastic and self-supporting, the designs we created were 3–5 metres high and the entire run more than a hundred metres long. The multitude of amusing topical titles were scripted by CiD and provided commuter traffic with endless hours of fun. Both hoardings became ‘London landmarks’ in their own right, and are still referred to today as developer highlights within the London arena.
