Bvlgari Hotel London

VIP access  launching a luxury-brand hotel

The landmark Bvlgari London hotel was designed by renowned architects Antonio Citterio, Patricia Viel & Partners. As part of the design and development of all the marketing and in-house brochures and materials for the hotel, CiD were commissioned to facilitate the creation of a security password only website for the new residences as well as an exclusive marketing brochure for the Penthouse suite. With careful planning and working closely with the client team, we were able to design and produce all the high-quality hotel collateral, including bags from China, matchbooks from Germany and leather goods from Scotland, within a very limited timespan to coincide with the hotel opening.

Exclusively VIP

CiD designed a full-screen website for marketing the upper residences that had to fall within the brand guidance of Bvlgari’s expanding worldwide hotel empire and was used as a part data capture / part exclusivity access. Each prospective buyer was given a hardback, coffee book brochure, complete with separate individual floor plans and a unique token access (that expired after two weeks) to virtually explore the residencies via the website.

Everything but the kitchen sink

CiD took on the challenge of designing, sourcing, and managing the print and delivery of all marketing collateral including the website, for the hotel. Whilst delivering within an extremely tight deadline to coincide with the hotel launch, the design process had to be sympathetic with the emerging hotel brand, utilising agreed bespoke materials, corporate typefaces and brand formatting.

Joint effort

In addition to the variety of in-house items, CiD designed and printed a range of exclusive marketing materials for the Spa including membership cards, brochures and presentation boxes; we even produced a guest running map, setting out a morning run in Hyde Park. Only by working closely with the client team, attending regular meetings to monitor and agree bespoke items were we able to coordinate everything successfully for the opening of the Hotel.

“CiD exceeded our expectations on every aspect of the project.”
