The Eastcheap Estate comprises a cluster of listed, period buildings that have been refurbished into grade-A office and retail space, in a former food market spanning 31,838 sq ft adjacent to the Walkie Talkie. The development was the jewel in the crown of the Thackeray Groups portfolio. Having secured deals to fully let the offices and retail space, they approached CiD to design a sales brochure, companion picture book and an EDM campaign to sell the entire estate. Spanning multiple facades, the estate posed a unique challenge to convey the uninterrupted parade of buildings in all their refurbished glory.

A dramatic gatefold

CiD first created a unique colour palette and identity for the estate, harking back to the Boar’s Head pub that used to reside on the site during Shakespearean times; we then photographed and composited a 'flat-on' elevation of the run of exterior facades, to express the full impact of the estate, the popularity of the location and its overall size. This featured within the brochure as a fold-out gatefold giving the appropriate gravitas to the location and underlining the historic significance of the Eastcheap Estate.

A commemorative companion

To reinforce the offer and demonstrate the quality of the interiors and internal fit out, the host brochure was accompanied with a photo book of before and after images, close-up detail shots and some of the architectural splendour.
