The Old Garden

Richmond’s new Palladian mansion

Share

The Old Garden is an unprecedented English country house designed by Quinlan Francis Terry, built in a classic Palladian style, and set within three acres of private gardens alongside the river Thames in Twickenham. CiD were commissioned to design and supervise the photography and production of an exclusive book to assist in the sale of the property and to highlight the unique design features, exceptional interior, and fantastic gardens.

Distinctive design

The Old Garden brochure was produced as a traditional thread sewn hard back book with endpapers, place ribbon and heat stamped leather cover, to reflect the classic design and high quality finish throughout the house.

Photography of a Palladian wonder

CiD art directed the accomplished architectural photographer James Brittain during the shoot, to achieving the desired shots necessary for the brochure. As the building was incomplete, CiD were also tasked with retouching and concealing building works and unfinished landscaping wherever necessary. The resulting exclusive hardback book assisted in achieving the sale of the house at the desired price shortly after we completed the project.
