Originally the personal bodyguard to Charles I, the Scots Guards lineage can be traced back to 1642. Today, the Scots Guards is Scotland’s Regiment of Foot Guards and an operational, deployable, first-line Infantry Regiment of the British Army consisting of the Battalion (the fighting component); F Company (ceremonial); the Scots Guards Association (veterans); the Charity and Recruitment Team; as well as the Pipes & Drum and band. CiD have worked for the Scots Guards for several years on a range of diverse projects including the new look and feel website with its improved functionality and eCommerce of the shop element, to grow and improve the customer base and income streams.

Changing colours – changing times

In 2017, in collaboration with Beeston Media, we successfully recorded the presentation of the New Scots Guards Colours to the Queen at Buckingham Palace. In addition to art directing the commemorative video and photography, CiD provided all the associated print collateral to celebrate the event which was held the same evening and featured a picture of the Queen being presented the colours earlier in the day. Despite the weather, a very successful, memorable and historical occasion and a project we are proud to have delivered.

“Change the color to match your brand or vision, add your logo, choose the perfect layout, modify menu settings, add animations, add shape dividers, increase engagement with call to action and more.”

— Major James Kelly, Regimental Adjutant, Scots Guards
