Capricorn Financial is one of the premier mortgage and property finance providers in the UK and internationally, with more than 50 expert advisers and substantial support staff across four London offices. As well as being one of the largest brokers in the UK, Capricorn offer additional specialist lending services, unique in the market, covering International, Commercial and Private Client (HNW) Finance. CiD have been involved in all aspects of the Capricorn brand including website design, external and internal print collateral, app development, signage and corporate video production and we continue to support them wherever necessary.

Consistent tone of voice

CiD have designed and produced a range of print collateral for Capricorn Financial and have built a recognisable style for the brand. Ranging from internal style guides, corporate stationery, and a series of management manuals to set out the company ethos and ways of working; through to targeted service leaflets and hard back brochures for high-net-worth clients, CiD have ensured brand and tone of voice consistent across all items.

Refreshing views

Alongside the corporate upgrade of internal documents and marketing materials CiD were asked to refresh the website, focusing on improving user journeys, lead generation and SEO. To fully deliver a more engaging user-friendly experience and to coincide with the tone of voice and corporate branding of the marketing materials, CiD rationalised the colours, simplified the menu and dramatically improved the imagery throughout.

Star performers

In addition to the extensive structural improvements to the website, CiD refined the taxonomy and filtering of the staff profiles to include a world map, dynamically updated, to show the range of international languages spoken by the diverse work force at Capricorn. Staff images were improved overall by strict guidance on format, background colour and layout.

New horizons

To publicise and celebrate Capricorn’s move into the iconic Coca Cola Building in the heart of Hammersmith CiD commissioned and Art Directed film-maker Hamish Beeston, from Beeston Media, to create a corporate video for Capricorn. The final film is a visual narrative of Capricorn’s core business, their global reach, ambitious growth and their bright future.

Corporate Photography

A key aspect of the website refresh and the new-look corporate materials was our work in extending the image vocabulary to include potential customers of all ages, couples, and family types. We also commissioned and supervised corporate photography of the Hammersmith offices and procured licensed images of the international locations in which Capricorn operate.
